Title: What does patriotism have to do with a Tucson, Arizona Fourth of July?
Sub- Title: Just pretend that everything is okay in America!
An Interlude of sorts:

Dear republican SAHBA members,
Now that you are in the mood, let’s talk a little bit about your false sense of patriotism and support for a corrupted organization (SAHBA) and your corrupted local and national politicians that enable your thievery against the public to continue.
Today I toured the Lincoln Memorial and re-read the chiseled words of the most famous speech that Abraham Lincoln delivered, the Gettysburg Address that was given in defense of continuing this country. I was especially moved by the ending words....... and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. It did not say of the corporation, by the corporation and for the corporation. What happened to this noble proclamation?
Yes, those words can still send a shiver down my spine until I realize that the country that Abraham Lincoln was once talking about no longer exists. This country that Lincoln spoke about, unfortunately no longer exist. It no longer exists because of the profound changes that started with Reagan in 1980 and has now accelerated exponentially during the last seven and one half years of the Bush crime family’s fear mongering, stupidity and corruption against the American people.
Our country is now run by a group of corporate shrills, prostituting lobbyist/lawyers, lapdog media midgets and the political prostitutes of corporate America that have been given residence by the ignorance and apathy of the American people. Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington would be so ashamed of how you, the American people have allowed divisiveness of God, gays, guns and fear, hi-jack and ruin the country that these men fought so hard to build and protect.
I then walked down to view the sad legacy and testimonial to the Vietnam conflict; the Vietnam Memorial. Up until 1973, over 58,000 Americans died in the supposedly “patriotic” support of an anti- communism campaign. In all of the time that I have visited this war memorial, I have never seen the display without the many pictures and letters to servicemen that died in that needless Domino Theory affect conflict.
But why today, have American companies set up shop in Communist China and now Vietnam to do business and my question is; “Why did 58,000 Americans have to die in the name of stopping Communism?” What happened to our objection of Communist states? Is it a fact that the American Government/Corporate America is not afraid of Communism as long as they allow corporations to set up shop and exploit cheap labor at will for export and profits? It is kind of funny how Communism has now become a non- problem for the United States.
How patriotic can it be considered when American politicians and their corporate owners have sent thousands of American service members to their draft induced deaths in pursuit of the perfect business model? How patriotic do you consider it to be when your government lies to you and then it invades a sovereign country and sheds the blood of our people, along with Iraqis blood for the exploitation of oil and control of its pricing? Does the pursuit of money trump all issues including the acts of forced or false patriotism?
But let’s now begin to celebrate Tucson’s coming Fourth of July celebrations with a review of some important definitions and truths that seem to be forgotten by the American Idol Survivor Christians among you.
Patriot; (def.) – A person who regards himself or herself as a defender, esp. of individual rights, against presumed interference by the federal government. A person who challenges his government against it’s corrupted policies is a patriot. A person who follows his government like a Britney Spears sheep is anything but a patriot.
Patriotism; (def.) - a devoted love, support, and defense of one's country, a national loyalty; even if it is delusional and based upon lies that have been offered to them.
Democracy - government by the people and not collection of corporations, which is a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people (and not corporations) exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.
Nationalism; (def.), A political or social fantasy philosophy (think Hitler) in which the welfare of the nation-state as an entity is considered paramount to the will of the people. Nationalism is basically a collective state of mind or consciousness based on insecurity or fear in which people believe their primary duty and loyalty is to the nation-state because of these developed insecurities and fears. Often nationalism implies national superiority and glorifies various national virtues even if they are not based on fact.. Pursuing superiority is a product of this inferiority complex and fear induced education. Thus love of nation may be overemphasized; concern with national self-interest to the exclusion of the rights of other nations may lead to international conflict.
To put it simply; a war monger named, John McCain, has summarized the legacy of empire by saying; “There will be more wars and Bomb, Bomb Iraq.”
Are you ready America to pay the cost of for more wars for a declining empire? If you are, please open your wallets and begin writing the checks for your support of such war mongering, pseudo patriotism. Myself and many others do not want to pay the monetary cost of these military industrial complex profit inducing wars.
Fascism - Fascism has found adherents in all countries. Its essentially vague and emotional nature facilitates the development of unique national varieties, whose leaders often deny indignantly that they are fascists at all. In its dictatorial methods and in its use of brutal intimidation of the opposition by the militia and the secret police, fascism does not greatly distinguish itself from other despotic and totalitarian regimes. There are particular similarities with the Communist regime in the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin. However, unlike Communism, fascism abhors the idea of a classless society and sees desirable order only in a state in which each class has its distinct place and function. Representation by classes (i.e., capital, labor, farmers, and professionals) is substituted for representation by parties, and the corporative state is a part of fascist dogma.
Although Mussolini's and Hitler's governments tended to interfere considerably in economic life and to regulate its process, there can be no doubt that despite all restrictions imposed on them, the capitalist and landowning classes were protected by the fascist system, and many favored it as an obstacle to socialization.
Nazism; (def) - a form of socialism featuring racism and expansionism and obedience to a strong leader
Just remember folks, Adolph Hitler and the rise of the Nazi Party, were both freely elected by the German people. Adolph Hitler then invented make believe threats, began scarring the people and then he took the country into an empire expansion war. Surely, one can see upon examination the similarities between George W. Bush and the rise of the neocon republican Party in America?

a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of

don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in
Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the

drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist
dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no
voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.
That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked,
and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the
country to danger. It works the same in any country."

Herman Goering was sentenced to death by hanging but instead committed suicide by having a smuggled cyanide pill in his possession.
Keith Olbermann of MSNBC Countdown program provides a concise synoptic view of how this works with his nexus of politics and terror video. Remember Tucson and America, you voted for the continuation of this Bush/Cheney fear mongering scenario.
If I do recall, George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld and Karl Rove, like Herman Goering all have had connection with the German past. Are there ancestry questions involving these political figures? Wasn’t Bush’s grandfather, Prescott Bush making money through the Union Banking Corporation for investment in Hitler’s rising Fascist Party. Didn’t Bush’s grandfather help Hitler to buy the military hardware necessary for the Nazi’s Party to create the Nazi war machine that America then had to go to war against and die for? Are we not doing the very same thing with China; oh hell yes? But is there a problem with having German ancestry; no. But maybe the DNA from political figures of German ancestry remember how Adolph Hitler consolidated his power. And to think, it is ironic that Hitler wasn’t of German ancestry but instead Austrian ancestry. Adjacent country borders can only keep people separated artificially for so long but ideas are never censored by such segregated conditions.
So republican SAHBA members, where do you think on the list of above definitions that you, your state and country can be best described? I believe that we are patriotic when the country chooses to be concerned with the lives of all of their people. A country should never choose to offer blind allegiance and patriotism for any elected official. Choosing to be concerned with supporting neocon republican politicians and their financially elite Americans constituents who possess great wealth and power and who would like to keep it that way is in my opinion, anything but patriotic. Jim Click is not patriotic but instead loyal to a politician who he believes his policies will bring him more money. Remember, very few if any, of the wealthy elite and their children will ever choose to fight for their country. It is the poor and lower middle class who participate and die for agendas that they might not fully understand.
Could it be possibly that we are in a dark age’s period between a Democratic empire in its last throes and a transitional period towards a Fascist police state? As John McCain keeps saying with his speech; “My friends, there will be more wars.” And I say to you; “But why does it have to be so?” Is this John McCain’s strategy to be energy independent by having more bankrupting country invasions? Who is next; Iran or Venezuela? Can America not see that there is a calculated corporate sponsored and politician backed authorization for another military industrial complex agenda for more war profiteering with the promise of more continued wars for cheaper oil for corporate America interest?” Remember, in the end, past empires have failed under the weight of its military tentacles.
Could anything be more patriotic on this Fourth of July than having a 21 gun salute for our Military Industrial Complex? But I do understand; none of care since your gorging for the almighty buck continues unabated without concern for the future or the future of your children lives.
But after a thorough review of these definitions Tucson SAHBA members, I am sure that you have forgotten the premise under which this country was founded and are now busy gearing up for the weekend Fourth of July festivities. Surely, the hot dog and hamburger meat from downer cows have been purchased, the salmonella tomatoes have been saved and the watered Pabst Blue Ribbon that has been brewed with CAP water will be on ice soon enough to celebrate in your republican red neck revelry of style.
But what SAHBA members will you really be celebrating for, and then one begs to ask the question; why? This is not your father’s America and it is no longer our America either. No, the corporate dictators of America now own this country along with your cheap bought, whore driven politicians.
Our country and especially your sprawling urban metropolis in the desert that you call Tucson, is no longer something that you should celebrate but instead, you should be ashamed of. You and your city, if anything do not believe for a moment the founding truths of this nation that was created on the premise of liberty and justice for all. No, SAHBA members you and your bought and paid for politicians believe that your businesses and corporations deserve favoritism and justice above its people.
And certainly no Fourth of July in the 21st century would be complete without putting on your yellow “support our troops” ribbons and the faded peeled off Bush/Cheney 2004 stickers on your H2 Hummers and SUV’s. But why do your Bush/Cheney 2004 bumper less sticker SUV’s sit silently in your garages? Could it be that you are ashamed and it is too expensive to drive with gasoline at over $4 dollars a gallon. But what did you really expect with a couple of Texas flunky oil boys that you elected twice to run this country? Did you really expect competence, honesty, integrity and cheap gas? Hasn’t the price of a barrel of oil doubled in the last year? That is not supply and demand; that is a gouging commodities speculation bubble.
Hey Tucson, Arizona, you have been up since 6:00 AM this morning and you are still dreaming. Just go ahead and “pretend that everything is okay” when you know it can’t possibly be; even if in your wildest dreams of republican delusion!
SAHBA member of all people should realize the evolving great American disconnect and ever increasing dysfunctional attributes that Americans of 2008 posses, unlike the Americans of just a generation ago. No, Tucson you and your inhabitants will never be considered in the running for the greatest generation instead you will be noted for the greatest apathetic and greedy people that lived on this earth. Greed as always, in the Arizona real estate industry, has a way of nullifying and perceptible character that any of you have may have had left in a previous life.
But I am sure that many of you will celebrate our nation’s birthday this week with orgies of drunken outburst and gunfire from our recent Supreme Court decision that says that everyone like our military industrial complex country can be armed to the teeth. While in you drunken haze and in between re-loading ammo clips to fire in the night’s sky, just try and remember what you are really celebrating about it. Your city, state and country are no longer the same and your phone calls/e-mails may be instigated with warrant less wire tapping on this very night.
I am sure that many of you think that you are so proud, just like a Texas Friday night football game cheerleader but your make believe patriotism is misguided. Maybe you are so proud, like baby boomer, plastic surgery enhanced and the one with robotic eyes, Cindy McCain, who just this past week said once again that she is just so damn proud of her city, her state, her country and her inherited Budweiser bank account.
Unfortunately, many of us have been provided a life during the past seven and one-half years of George W. Bush’s administration of corruption with a new way of life that we could have never imagined. I am sure there are wealthy republicans like Jim Click and Don Diamond who are among the 23% that think that that Bush and the country are doing just fine. Of course if your bank account shows $110 million dollars and eight homes like John and Cindy McCain then I am sure you will be as proud as Cindy McCain spouts of intermittently so show her tremendous attribute as a patriotic American; what a patriot.
But Tucson and the rest of Arizona, how proud are you really are with what has been taking place in this state and your country for almost the past eight years? Are you proud we invaded another country? Are you proud we tortured their citizens? Are you proud of the hundreds of thousands and over 4,000 Americans that have been killed? Are you proud of how Bush/Cheney has trashed our Constitution? Are you and your family proud to say that you are better off than you were before the November 2000 elections? Are you proud Tucson that you and your SAHBA/NAHBA members lie, cheat, steal, swindle and cause ex-military families to lose their home all in order to pacify their thirst for greed?
Are you proud America that your country was allowed by design to be attacked without defending itself on 9/11? Sure go ahead and puff your chest and beat it with your clenched fist because that type of Nationalism is exactly what your directors would like you to do without thinking. Are you really proud to be an American while your country’s politicians pilfer and bankrupt this country into financial oblivion?
Pretend to be proud Tucson that you voted in the Bush/Cheney cabal that has trashed our Constitution and caused our country so much debt and the loss of innocent American and Iraqi lives?
So Tucson and SAHBA members, go ahead and “pretend that everything is okay” this Fourth of July and continue on with your delusional behavior of make believe patriotism. Be proud America that your homes are being foreclosed, gas is $4.50 a gallon, the Taliban is stronger than ever, and the de-regulation of the banking industry banks now insures an impending and imploding collapse of the nation’s banks, which will once again, just like the Savings and Loans scandal be asked to be bailed out by taxpayer dollars.
I marvel at yours and America false sense of patriotism and ignorance?
